Job Summary

Key Deliverables and Responsibilities

Cambridge Investment Research is seeking a Senior Product Manager to own outcomes for a complex, enterprise‑scale product supporting multiple teams and stakeholders. This role is accountable for defining product strategy, setting priorities, and delivering measurable improvements in adoption, reliability, user experience, and time‑to‑value—within a highly governed financial services environment.

You will work closely with Software Engineering, UI/UX Design, and business leaders to translate customer and enterprise needs into a clear roadmap and prioritized portfolio of work.

  • Own product outcomes: Define and manage OKRs/KPIs, maintain a product scorecard, and make evidence‑based trade‑offs to achieve outcomes (not just ship features)
  • Set product strategy & roadmap: Create and communicate a clear product vision, strategy, and roadmap aligned to enterprise priorities
  • Lead discovery: Validate problems, segment users, define value hypotheses, and incorporate research, analytics, and stakeholder input
  • Prioritize enterprise demand: Manage intake and prioritization using transparent criteria (value, risk, effort, dependencies, compliance)
  • Translate strategy to execution: Define epics, outcomes, acceptance criteria, standards, and decision guardrails
  • Partner cross‑functionally: Orchestrate delivery with engineering, platform, security, risk/compliance, governance, and operations teams
  • Instrument & improve: Ensure products are observable (adoption, reliability, performance, quality, compliance, time‑to‑value) and continuously improved
  • Mentor product talent: Coach and develop Product Managers and contribute to advancing product maturity across the organization

What We Are Looking For

  • Significant experience owning product strategy, roadmap, and outcomes for complex products or platforms
  • Proven ability to define OKRs, instrument products, and manage to outcomes
  • Strong product strategy fluency in enterprise and/or regulated environments
  • Ability to influence without authority across engineering, security, risk/compliance, and business teams
  • Executive‑level communication and storytelling skills

Salary Range: $100,000 - 115,000. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate based on the ideal candidate’s qualifications, the company’s operational needs, and other factors permitted by law. Actual compensation may vary depending on experience, skills, education, performance, internal equity, and geographic location.
