Senior Product Engineer - FINIQ And NET

We are looking for an experienced Senior Product Engineer with strong hands-on expertise in FINIQ, .NET/C#, and Microsoft SQL Server to support business-critical platforms within the Wealth & Asset Management domain.

The ideal candidate will have deep technical experience in managing and optimizing the FINIQ application environment, strong backend development and database capabilities, and practical exposure to test automation and CI/CD. The role also requires an innovative mindset, with the ability to identify process inefficiencies and leverage Node.js, modern APIs, AI technologies, and LLM frameworks to improve and automate existing workflows.

Key ResponsibilitiesPlatform & FINIQ Application Management

• Manage, maintain, and optimize the FINIQ core application environment.
• Provide hands-on technical administration and support for FINIQ-based platforms.
• Troubleshoot complex application issues, performance bottlenecks, and production challenges.
• Ensure application stability, reliability, availability, and optimal performance.
• Analyze and resolve issues across application and database layers.

Database Management & Development

• Design, develop, debug, and optimize Microsoft SQL Server databases.
• Write and tune complex T-SQL queries, stored procedures, and triggers.
• Perform database performance tuning and optimization.
• Ensure database integrity, high availability, reliability, and performance.
• Troubleshoot complex SQL and database-related application issues.

.NET Application Development

• Design, develop, maintain, and enhance backend services using .NET / C#.
• Develop scalable backend components and application services using .NET and SQL Server.
• Apply strong backend architecture and software engineering principles.
• Integrate backend services with databases, APIs, and enterprise applications.
• Support technical troubleshooting and resolution of complex application bottlenecks.

Test Automation & Engineering Quality

• Design, build, and execute automated testing frameworks for application and platform validation.
• Develop and maintain automated test scripts to reduce manual testing effort.
• Work with test automation tools such as Playwright.
• Integrate automated testing into development and CI/CD workflows.
• Identify opportunities to improve application quality, test coverage, and engineering efficiency.

CI/CD & DevOps

• Build, maintain, and improve reliable CI/CD pipelines.
• Automate application build, testing, deployment, and release processes.
• Eliminate manual intervention through engineering automation.
• Collaborate with engineering and DevOps teams to improve deployment efficiency and reliability.

Process Innovation & AI Integration

• Review and audit existing workflows to identify inefficiencies, bottlenecks, and opportunities for automation.
• Proactively recommend and implement improvements to engineering and business processes.
• Leverage Node.js and .NET to integrate modern APIs and microservices.
• Explore and apply AI technologies and LLM frameworks to automate data and application processes.
• Identify practical opportunities to use AI-assisted engineering and automation to improve productivity and operational efficiency.

Required Technical Skills

• 5+ years of hands-on technical administration experience with FINIQ.
• Strong hands-on experience with FINIQ Core Application.
• Expert-level knowledge of Microsoft SQL Server.
• Strong skills in database design and T-SQL.
• Extensive experience with:
• Complex SQL queries
• Stored procedures
• Triggers
• Database optimization
• Performance tuning
• Database integrity and availability
• Strong proficiency in .NET / C#.
• Strong understanding of backend application architecture.
• Proven experience in test automation frameworks.
• Hands-on experience with Playwright or similar automation tools.
• Strong understanding of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
• Strong conceptual understanding of Node.js.
• Strong conceptual understanding of AI technologies and AI toolkits.
• Exposure to LLM frameworks and AI-driven process automation.
