Senior Product Engineer - Calypso

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Product Engineer - Calypso with strong expertise in treasury and capital markets systems. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with Calypso architecture, APIs, and front-to-back trade lifecycle, along with solid Java development capabilities.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and support solutions within the Calypso platform for treasury and capital markets
• Work on Calypso front-office modules, including Workstation and Pricing Sheets
• Customize and enhance Calypso APIs, workflows, scheduled tasks, and engines
• Manage and support the end-to-end trade lifecycle (Front Office to Back Office)
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to implement solutions for equities and treasury products
• Handle integration with external systems using REST APIs, FIX, and Kafka
• Ensure high-quality delivery across settlement, accounting, and reporting modules
• Participate in system enhancements, upgrades, and performance tuning
• Work closely with cross-functional teams including business, QA, and operations
  
  

• Minimum 5+ years of hands-on experience in Calypso
• Strong understanding of Calypso architecture and core components
• Solid experience working with Calypso APIs and customization
• Good expertise in Core Java and Oracle Database
• Strong knowledge of REST API frameworks and integration patterns
• Experience with real-time messaging systems such as FIX and Kafka
• Solid understanding of trade lifecycle and capital markets workflows

• Strong understanding of Equity products
• Good exposure to Treasury products, including:
• FX / Money Market (MM)
• Bonds
• Repo
• Interest Rate Swaps (IRS)
• Cross Currency Swaps (CCS)
• Credit Default Swaps (CDS)
  

• Experience with Calypso Risk Modules (ERS)
• Knowledge of SA-CCR and FRTB frameworks
• Prior experience working with leading banks or financial institutions
