This role sits at the core of data-driven product decision-making for large-scale digital products focused on social discovery and user engagement. You will analyze complex behavioral and product datasets to uncover growth opportunities and improve key business metrics across global platforms. The position involves designing and evaluating experiments, especially A/B tests, to measure the impact of product changes and guide strategic direction. You will collaborate closely with product, engineering, and marketing teams to transform raw data into actionable insights. In this highly analytical environment, your work directly influences product evolution, user experience, and business performance. The role is ideal for someone who combines strong technical expertise with a sharp product mindset and enjoys solving complex behavioral problems at scale.

Accountabilities

• Identify growth opportunities by analyzing user behavior and proposing hypotheses to improve key product and business metrics.
• Support the full experimentation lifecycle, including hypothesis generation, prioritization, validation, and impact measurement.
• Design and evaluate A/B tests and apply causal inference methods to assess product changes.
• Monitor, detect, and investigate anomalies or deviations in product and business performance metrics.
• Build, maintain, and optimize dashboards and reporting systems for ongoing product visibility.
• Deliver clear, actionable insights and recommendations to product, marketing, and business stakeholders.
• Collaborate cross-functionally to support data-driven decision-making across product initiatives.
  
  

Requirements

• Strong experience in product analytics with a deep understanding of A/B testing and experimental design.
• Solid foundation in mathematical statistics and causal inference methodologies.
• Advanced proficiency in Python for data analysis, segmentation, clustering, and regression modeling.
• Strong SQL skills, including window functions, query optimization, and complex data manipulation.
• Experience working with BI tools such as Tableau, Power BI, Apache Superset, or similar platforms.
• Strong understanding of product metrics such as LTV, retention, conversion, CPA, and funnel analysis.
• Product-oriented mindset with the ability to translate data into business impact and actionable insights.
• Excellent analytical, critical thinking, and structured problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to clearly present insights and recommendations.
• High level of ownership, autonomy, and focus on measurable business outcomes.
• Strong proficiency in both Russian and English (written and spoken).
