As a Senior Procurement Executive, you will play a vital role in overseeing and enhancing the procurement processes within our organization. Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement procurement strategies to meet company goals and objectives efficiently.
  • Negotiate contracts with suppliers to secure the most advantageous terms possible.
  • Analyse market trends to identify potential supply risks and opportunities for savings.
  • Assess and manage the supplier base to ensure reliable access to needed goods and services.
  • Collaborate with various departments to ensure procurement aligns with broader business strategies.
  • Oversee the preparation and processing of requisitions and purchase orders for supplies and equipment.
  • Establish strong vendor relationships with an emphasis on long-term partnerships and mutual benefit.
  • Monitor supplier performance to ensure agreed standards and terms are being met consistently.
  • Lead and mentor junior procurement staff, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and learning.
  • Manage procurement databases and maintain records of purchases, pricing, and other important data.
  • Develop and manage the procurement budget to optimize spending and reduce costs effectively.
  • Report on procurement metrics and supply chain initiatives to senior management on a regular basis.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field.
  • A minimum of 5 years of professional experience in procurement or supply chain management.
  • Strong negotiation skills with a proven track record of successful supplier agreements.
  • Exceptional analytical abilities and attention to detail in complex problem solving.
  • Experience in managing supplier relationships and leading procurement projects end-to-end.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with diverse teams effectively.
  • Proficiency in procurement and supply chain management software and tools is required.
