Job Description

The role of a Senior Procurement Executive is crucial in steering the procurement strategies to ensure that the organization's purchasing policies and procedures are efficient and cost-effective. The position involves managing a team of procurement professionals, ensuring compliance with procurement policies, negotiating contracts with vendors, and continuously seeking improvements in supply chain efficiency. Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement effective procurement strategies across all business units.
  • Lead and manage the procurement team to meet departmental objectives.
  • Negotiate and secure favorable terms and contracts with suppliers and vendors.
  • Ensure compliance with all procurement policies, procedures, and regulations.
  • Analyze market trends to identify and capitalize on procurement opportunities.
  • Collaborate with internal departments to ensure alignment of procurement practices.
  • Oversee supplier performance management and address areas for improvement.
  • Prepare and present detailed procurement reports to senior management.
  • Manage the procurement budget and ensure cost-effective purchasing decisions.
  • Develop long-term sourcing strategies to support organizational objectives.
  • Evaluate and improve current supply chain practices for optimal efficiency.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or related field.
  • Minimum of 7 years of experience in procurement or supply management.
  • Strong leadership skills with experience in managing a procurement team.
  • Excellent negotiation skills and the ability to influence stakeholders effectively.
  • In-depth knowledge of procurement regulations and compliance requirements.
  • Ability to analyze complex procurement data and drive insightful decision-making.
  • Proven track record of successful supplier relationship management.
