Job Overview:

The Senior Principal Engineer - Welding & FJC (Field Joint Coating) Equipment is responsible for the maintenance, preparation, operations trouble shooting, assignation and deployment of advanced welding & FJC equipments for onshore and offshore pipeline applications.

Responsibilities

Key Tasks and Responsibilities:

• The Welding and FJC Senior Equipment Engineer is responsible for the maintenance, preparation, operations trouble shooting, assignation and deployment of advanced welding & FJC equipments for onshore and offshore pipeline applications.
• The role focuses on defining robust, safe, and reliable equipment solutions adapted to harsh onshore & marine environments and stringent standards. She/ he shall have knowledge on automatic welding GMAW pipeline equipment, ILUC (Internal Line Up Clamp), PFM (Pipe Facing Machines), pipeline peripherics (coil, demagnetization equipment), induction FJC coil, blasting equipments, FBE (Fusion Bonded Equipment), IMPU (Injected Molded Poly Urethane), IMPP (Injection Molded Poly Prolylein) and any others PLE (Pipe Line Equipment) items.
• Acting as a technical leader, the engineer ensures effective integration of joining processes with automated and mechanized systems, supports industrialization and commissioning onshore and offshore, collaborates with equipment suppliers and project teams, and contributes to technology roadmaps that enhance safety, quality, and cost efficiency across offshore projects
  
  

Qualifications

Essential Qualifications and Education:

• Must have atleast a degree in Engineering
• Minimum 15 years of experience
• Ability to lead the team
• Willing to relocate to Jebel Ali
• Organized and Detailed Oriented
• Proficient is activities such as: Pipeline Equipment installation & maintenance such as orbital automatic, ILUC (Internal Line Up Clamp), PFM (Pipe Face Machine), induction coil, blasting equipment, FJC equipment, FBE (Fusion Bonde Epoxy) equipment, IMPU (Injected Molded Poly Urethane) equipment, IMPP (Injected Molded Poly Propylene), Offshore pipelay installation (S-lay & J-lay), welding equipment.
• The Senior Principal Engineer - FJC (Field Joint Coating) requires hands on experience on:
• Automatic welding GMAW pipeline equipment - Offshore pipelay installation (S-lay & J-lay)
• ILUC (Internal Line Up Clamp)
• PFM (Pipe Facing Machines)
• Pipeline peripherics (coil, demagnetization equipment), Induction FJC coil
