The Senior Planner 18O25 is an integral position within our organization, tasked with orchestrating and overseeing projects with precision and strategic foresight. Utilizing advanced planning methodologies, a Senior Planner ensures the alignment of objectives with the operational and budgetary frameworks of the company. The role requires a blend of analytical proficiency and leadership skills to design workflows and guide teams towards successful project completion. As a Senior Planner, you will engage with multiple departments, translating business strategies into actionable plans while identifying potential risks and opportunities for optimization. Your expertise will drive the efficient allocation of resources, foster collaboration across departments, and spearhead initiatives that enhance productivity and achieve organizational goals.


Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and manage comprehensive project timelines, milestones, and deliverables across various departments.
  • Develop long-term strategic plans in line with business objectives and growth projections.
  • Analyze project performance data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
  • Communicate effectively with stakeholders to provide project updates and negotiate changes in project scope.
  • Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies to ensure project success.
  • Lead and mentor a team of planners and project coordinators to optimize their contributions.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align resources and manage competing priorities.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory and organizational policies during project implementation.
  • Utilize project management software to monitor progress and generate performance reports.
  • Facilitate meetings with project teams to discuss deliverables and resolve issues.
  • Oversee budget management for projects, ensuring fiscal responsibility and efficiency.
  • Investigate new planning tools and technologies to enhance efficiency and project execution.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, project management, or a related field.
  • At least 5 years of experience in strategic planning or project management roles.
  • Proficient in using project management and data analysis software tools.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills with prior experience managing teams.
  • Exemplary communication and negotiation skills for stakeholder engagement.
  • Ability to analyze complex data and create actionable strategies for improvement.
  • Familiarity with regulatory requirements and project management best practices.
  • Capacity to work under pressure and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail in planning processes.
