Overview Of The Role:

The Performance Marketing Manager is responsible for crafting and executing performance marketing strategies tailored to specific regions to drive traffic growth, sales increases, and enhanced customer experiences for Al Futtaim Retail across the Middle East and Asia. The role oversees performance marketing outcomes in MENA and Asia, ensuring a balance between growth, efficiency, and scalability across markets at varying maturity levels, while aiding brand awareness and cultivating long-term customer relationships. Success in this role necessitates a commercial mindset with a strong test-and-learn approach, comfort in making data-driven decisions, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment.

What You Will Do:

  • Own the end-to-end delivery, optimization, and performance of paid search, paid social, display, and programmatic campaigns across retail using platforms such as Google (Search, Shopping, Display, YouTube), Meta, and other relevant performance and app marketing tools.
  • Manage multi-channel and multi-market paid media budgets to deliver agreed revenue, ROAS, CAC, and customer acquisition targets; define targeting and bidding strategies; drive continuous optimization, testing, and performance monitoring.
  • Collaborate closely with Brand teams, Digital Trade, and CRM to ensure paid media activity is aligned with stock availability, product priorities, and the broader marketing and trading calendar.
  • Ensure that the right products, offers, and messages are promoted at the right time, supporting both commercial and brand objectives.
  • Own the briefing, delivery, and optimization of all performance marketing creative and content assets, working with graphic designers, copywriters, and brand teams to ensure assets are delivered on time, reflect brand standards, and are optimized for performance across PPC, website, and app placements.
  • Contribute to country-level marketing plans, including forecasting targets and KPIs for paid media.
  • Deliver regular performance reviews, forecasts, and trend analysis to support decision-making.

Required Skills To Be Successful:

  • Hands-on experience with PPC and Paid Social platforms (Google Ads, Meta Business Manager, Programmatic platforms).
  • Strong web analytics expertise (Google Analytics or equivalent).
  • Experience using retargeting platforms such as Criteo and RTB.
  • Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel.

What Qualifies You For The Role:

  • At least 5 years of experience in performance marketing, with demonstrated ownership of multi-market or regional accounts and budget responsibility.
  • Proven track record in launching data-driven performance marketing campaigns that achieve strong ROI and enhance longer-term brand metrics.
  • Ability to establish, implement, and assess the effectiveness of digital paid advertising initiatives across various markets.
  • Expertise in leading digital branding initiatives, notably on platforms like YouTube and paid social video, with a good understanding of brand and upper-funnel KPIs.
