Job Responsibilities & Tasks Duties include but are not limited to
Interact with pervious operator to know the order status (referring to planning schedule) and check if any order under processing
Get the Cylinders to the cutting machine for copper plating along with format
Check cylinders surface, for the presence of any scratches, dents, tool lines or anything else, which the cylinder is acceptable (or) not acceptable.
Perform shaft fitting with copper shaft and degreasing of the cylinder on degreasing machine
Clean the cylinder to perform the copper plating machine and set the parameters as per the plating format
Monitor the additive quantity and check the copper plating for measuring copper hardness
In-case (Re-shafting) cylinder; ensure the appropriate polishing and finally place appropriate label.
Maintain the copper plating log book
Check the design perfectly and shaft fitting without any contact issue
Undertake pre-cleaning of cylinder and load on chrome plating machine then set the parameters as per cylinder size on chrome plating machine and polish as per required surface roughness
Undertake polishing through the proofing machine in order to check the roughness and place a label on the cylinders.
Maintain the chrome log book with relevant information
Arrange the cylinder on racks as per respective seat number and job number (wise)
