About the Role:
The role will support the English editorial team in content creation for day-to-day marketing campaigns, apps and web, videos, and other projects. The role entails working closely with cross-functional departments and editing, updating, and occasionally cleaning up outdated content, with a focus on our customer base in Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, UAE, Qatar, and Bahrain.

Responsibilities:

• Creating English content for all sales and marketing materials across the Almosafer portfolio of brands, including social media.

• Editorial content creation and conceptualization for static assets, video projects, animations, and more, across our technology products.

• Fulfilling the wider department’s copywriting requirements.

• Write engaging, concise, and effective copy.

• Work closely with cross-functional departments to assess and resolve any challenges in displaying the right content.

• Ensure content is aligned with the brand’s tone, guidelines, and project objectives.

• Work on editorial content predominantly on Google Drive docs, plus CMS content updates.
  
  

Profile Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in journalism, communications, marketing, English Literature or a related field.

• 3-5 years of experience

• A superior grasp of the English language and previous experience in writing for online platforms & social media campaigns.

• Experience in writing blogs and long-form editorial content.

• Strong research skills.

• Familiarity with keyword placement and SEO.

• Knowledge of the travel industry is preferred.

• Creative writing skills.

• Communication skills.

• Google Drive docs.

• Collaborative task management tools (e.g., Trello) - experience preferred
