We are currently seeking an ambitious individual to join our IWPB team, working together with colleagues to define, manage and achieve divisional business targets.

In This Role, You Will

  • This role is to drive the Premier growth for NRI business and acquire quality and funded a/cs for the corridor.
  • Lead internal and external collaboration, boost overall business momentum both for NRI & UAE
  • Drive visibility of gift city , refer and boost acquisition of gift city products and services
  • Your role will be to help support with implementing key business initiatives to help enhance Proposition and service model to deliver the business objectives. This is a key business development role focusing on building relationships with the internal and external stakeholders, with the objective of offering HSBC’s retail banking and wealth management (WPB) products to our International customers.
  • You will help support the execution and management of some of the new external/and or existing partnerships to help grow referrals for the International business. You will also be working very closely with branch network to drive quality referrals.
  • Promote HSBC WPB propositions internally and externally
  • You will help build and develop a working platform for prospect companies both inside & outside of HSBC customer portfolio.
  • Produce, manage and share with internal stakeholders the local MI to develop a global client knowledge understanding
  • You will maintain strong, effective and successful collaborations with ‘leads of’ colleagues within the MENA business to represent an aligned approach to help grow this customer base i.e. Customer Value Management, Branch Banking, Contact Centre’s, etc.
  • To plan and/or participate, including installation of desks at Third party/Industry events, corporate offices.
  • To hand out pamphlets / leaflets about India services (as approved)
  • Address such customer queries with information that is available in public domain, and assist with account opening, if the customer wishes to proceed
  • For enquiries received through campaigns, local marketing activities and other initiatives, rep office staff will call on such leads to understand the customer need, address queries and assist with account opening.
  • To be up to date on the India services as available on the HSBC public websites sites to effectively and efficiently

To be successful in the role, you should meet the following requirements:

Knowledge / Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, related field or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum of two years in banking sales experience or equivalent i.e. Business Development role
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal and presentation skills.
  • Able to work independently with limited supervision and guidance.
  • Excellent written and spoken communication skills
  • Customer-driven with a strong focus on quality of service and business development.
  • Planning and organizing, displays a strong sense of accountability.
