We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Network Specialist to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will play a critical role in designing, implementing, and managing complex network systems that enhance and support our organizational operations. As a Senior Network Specialist, you will leverage your extensive knowledge and experience to ensure the integrity, reliability, and performance of network infrastructure. You will also provide expert guidance and support to junior network engineers and collaborate with various teams to optimize network performance and security. This role demands a proactive thinker with a strong understanding of the latest networking technologies, capable of driving network innovations and implementing best practices to meet our company's needs.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain enterprise-level network infrastructure solutions for robust performance.
• Monitor network performance to identify potential issues and resolve them proactively.
• Ensure network security by applying best practices and remediating vulnerabilities.
• Collaborate with IT teams to integrate network solutions with other systems effectively.
• Develop and maintain comprehensive network documentation and diagrams.
• Provide tier-3 support for complex network incidents and troubleshoot efficiently.
• Plan and execute regular network audits and compliance checks.
• Stay updated on emerging networking technologies and suggest improvements accordingly.
• Mentor and train junior network staff, sharing knowledge and best practices.
• Design and deploy VPNs and secure remote access solutions for mobile workforce.
• Coordinate with vendors for network equipment procurement and maintenance activities.
• Develop disaster recovery plans to ensure network continuity and resilience.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in network design and management roles.
• Professional certifications such as CCNP, CCIE, or equivalent are highly desirable.
• Proficient with network management tools and simulation software.
• Strong understanding of network protocols such as TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF, and others.
• Experience with network security frameworks and best practices deployment.
• Excellent analytical skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex network issues effectively.
