Job Description

The Senior Mechanical Engineer (12N25) plays an integral role in our engineering team, providing vital expertise in the design, development, and analysis of complex mechanical systems. This position requires a highly skilled professional who can oversee multiple projects, ensuring they meet technical specifications, industry standards, and client expectations. The Senior Mechanical Engineer will engage in the entire project lifecycle, from conceptualization through to implementation and maintenance. You will be expected to lead cross-functional teams, mentor junior engineers, and collaborate with stakeholders to deliver innovative solutions that drive efficiency, sustainability, and competitiveness. A strong foundation in mechanical engineering principles, along with proven experience in project management, is essential for succeeding in this role.


Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and evaluate mechanical components and systems for various applications.
  • Lead cross-functional project teams to meet deliverables on time and within budget.
  • Conduct detailed feasibility studies and cost analysis to support project decisions.
  • Oversee testing procedures to ensure mechanical systems meet quality standards.
  • Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers and technical staff.
  • Collaborate closely with other engineering disciplines and stakeholders on projects.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements to enhance system efficiency.
  • Prepare and present technical reports, proposals, and documentation for projects.
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations throughout project lifecycles.
  • Generate innovative mechanical design solutions to solve complex engineering problems.
  • Utilize advanced modeling tools to simulate and predict mechanical system behaviors.
  • Manage vendor and contractor relationships to support project execution and delivery.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a closely related field is required.
  • A minimum of seven years of experience in mechanical engineering roles is preferred.
  • Strong proficiency with CAD software, Finite Element Analysis, and simulation tools.
  • Proven experience leading engineering projects and cross-functional teams successfully.
  • Excellent understanding of mechanical design principles and engineering standards.
  • Capable of solving complex engineering problems with innovative solutions.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills for documentation and presentations.
