To lead and evolve the Procurement Center of Excellence (CoE), providing strategic direction and operational oversight to elevate procurement capabilities across the organization. This role drives digital transformation, advanced analytics, and automation initiatives while ensuring robust data governance, system optimization, and continuous improvement of procurement processes to meet enterprise-wide strategic objectives.

Responsibilities

STRATEGIC

  • Develop and execute the multi-year strategy for the Procurement CoE, aligning with enterprise-wide digital transformation and procurement excellence agendas.
  • Champion the adoption of leading practices in procurement data management, analytics, and system governance across all business units and corporate functions.
  • Establish strategic partnerships with technology providers and internal stakeholders to enable scalable system solutions, future-ready analytics platforms, and value-based procurement decisions.
  • Lead enterprise-level initiatives in automation, AI/ML integration, and predictive analytics to generate business intelligence and support executive-level strategic planning.
  • Act as a key advisor to senior leadership by providing data-driven insights, risks, and opportunities to enhance procurement performance and business continuity.

OPERATIONAL

  • Govern and enhance procurement data frameworks, ensuring enterprise-wide consistency, compliance, and security in line with regulatory and corporate standards.
  • Oversee enterprise-wide reporting ecosystems, enabling standardized, real-time dashboards and analytics accessible to executive and functional leadership.
  • Manage a portfolio of procurement technology solutions (e.g., D365, Oracle, Xpedeon) and reporting tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau) and lead the roadmap for digital upgrades.
  • Drive initiatives to reduce manual interventions by automating reporting, data reconciliation, supplier performance tracking, and system alerts.
  • Lead root-cause analysis and resolution of complex data/system challenges, acting as the senior escalation point for cross-functional teams.
  • Deliver performance insights and analytics narratives that inform executive dashboards, Board reporting, and investment decisions.

PEOPLE MANAGEMENT

  • Build and lead a high-performing team of senior data analysts, automation architects, and system specialists to drive CoE capabilities.
  • Foster a results-driven, innovation-oriented culture through coaching, upskilling, and talent succession planning.
  • Define team KPIs and ensure measurable impact on business outcomes through continuous learning and development.

PRODUCT / PROCESS IMPROVEMENT

  • Lead the enterprise-wide identification and implementation of process optimization, automation, and digitalization initiatives in procurement.
  • Introduce AI, machine learning, and advanced analytics into procurement decision-making to enhance forecasting, supplier performance, and strategic sourcing.
  • Benchmark internal procurement practices against global standards to identify performance gaps and drive corrective transformation programs.
  • Evaluate and introduce emerging digital solutions and tools to improve the scalability, efficiency, and maturity of procurement systems.

Qualifications

EDUCATIONAL & TECHNICAL CERTIFICATIONS:

PREFERRED: Graduate in Engineering, Data Science, Supply Chain, or related fields. MBA or certifications in analytics, automation, or systems (e.g., Six Sigma, PMP, Power BI, SQL) preferred.

MINIMUM: Undergraduate Bachelors degree in Engineering, Business, Science or similar - Certification in analytics

Knowledge & Skill

1- Minimum 10 years of experience, including 5+ years in a leadership role within Procurement CoE, Shared Services, or Data/Systems Transformation

2- Expert knowledge in procurement systems, data architecture, analytics platforms, and automation tools

3- Proven track record of leading enterprise-wide transformation programs with tangible value delivery

4- Strong stakeholder management, influencing, and executive communication skills

5- Strategic thinking with the ability to balance tactical delivery and long-term capability building

Experience

Minimum: 3-5 years managerial experience, knowledge of procurement function, knowledge of PowerBI
