The Senior Manager - Projects will ensure that every project follows the company’s vision of innovation, sustainability, and collaboration, delivering exceptional outcomes. This position requires strategic oversight, leadership, and a comprehensive understanding of project management in dynamic environments.

  • Manage all phases of project development, from feasibility, design, and approvals through to construction, completion, and handover. Ensure that all aspects of the project align with strategic objectives.
  • Develop and implement detailed project plans, defining timelines, budgets, and resource allocation. Ensure all milestones are met, and projects are completed on time and within scope.
  • Adapt strategies to manage a variety of projects across different sectors (residential, commercial, industrial), applying best practices for each sector’s specific demands and complexities.
  • Prepare and manage comprehensive project budgets, including cost estimates, forecasts, and variance analysis. Ensure strong financial controls are in place and implement cost-saving strategies without compromising quality.
  • Monitor project expenditures and ensure accurate and timely financial reporting. Provide financial status updates to the Development Director and Chief Development Officer as required.
  • Identify potential project risks early and implement mitigation strategies. Ensure ongoing monitoring of risks, adjusting plans and resources as needed to avoid delays or cost overruns.
  • Utilize advanced risk management tools, such as predictive analytics, scenario modelling, and AI-driven insights, to proactively identify, assess, and mitigate risks across the project lifecycle. Implement real-time risk monitoring systems to ensure potential issues are addressed early, minimizing impact on project delivery.
  • Ensure all projects comply with health, safety, and environmental regulations, embedding sustainability and safety into every phase of the project lifecycle.

Requirements

  • At least 10-12 years of experience in property development and construction management, with at least 5 years in senior management roles across diverse sectors (residential, commercial, industrial, or mixed-use).
  • Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering, Architecture, Real Estate Development, or a related field. Professional certification (e.g., MCIOB, MRICS) is preferred.
  • Advanced knowledge of project management techniques and tools (e.g., MS Project, Primavera).
  • Experience managing multidisciplinary teams and complex development projects.
  • Experience managing large-scale, complex projects from inception to completion, ensuring they meet or exceed business objectives.
