Position Description

The Senior Manager – Projects is responsible for managing the planning, execution, and delivery of assigned development projects in accordance with approved schedules, budgets, and quality standards. The role ensures effective coordination between design, procurement, project controls, and construction teams to deliver projects successfully while maintaining compliance with company policies, safety regulations, and contractual requirements.

Key Responsibilities


  • Work with the Project Controls team to establish and monitor the Project Master Programme for assigned projects.
  • Coordinate with Design Management and Project Controls teams to define and implement the design delivery strategy.
  • Ensure project milestones, deliverables, and schedules are effectively tracked and achieved.
  • Provide technical input during tender evaluations and contractor selection.
  • Lead and conduct site visits and inspections to monitor construction progress and ensure compliance with project plans.
  • Coordinate with consultants and contractors to resolve technical and operational issues.
  • Review and approve contractor payment applications in accordance with company Policies & Procedures (P&P) and delegated authority limits.
  • Monitor project progress and review project delays and Extension of Time (EOT) claims.
  • Work closely with the Claims and Commercial teams to evaluate contractor claims related to time and cost.
  • Prepare and submit progress reports highlighting risks, delays, and mitigation plans.
  • Ensure alignment and communication between internal departments involved in project delivery.
  • Coordinate with the Handover Team to ensure projects are completed in accordance with company standards.
  • Lead final inspections and ensure completion of all required documentation and certifications.


Experience


  • Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering, Construction Management, or related field
  • Minimum 12–15 years of experience in construction and real estate development projects, preferably in the UAE or GCC.
  • Experience managing large-scale residential, mixed-use, or hospitality developments.
  • Strong knowledge of project planning, procurement strategies, contract administration, and claims management.
