The Senior Manager - Pricing and Promotion is a strategic leadership role responsible for developing and executing comprehensive pricing and promotional strategies to drive profitable growth and enhance market competitiveness. This role requires a strong analytical mindset, exceptional leadership skills, and a deep understanding of market dynamics and customer behavior. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to create and implement high-impact pricing models, promotional campaigns, and competitive analysis initiatives. By leveraging data and market insights, you will optimize pricing structures and promotional activities to align with business goals and customer expectations. Your innovative approach and strategic vision will play a critical role in maximizing revenue, profitability, and customer engagement.


Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement strategic pricing frameworks that align with business objectives.
  • Conduct comprehensive competitive analysis to identify pricing opportunities and threats.
  • Collaborate with product teams to evaluate and set competitive pricing for new products.
  • Identify emerging market trends and adjust pricing strategies accordingly.
  • Design and execute promotional campaigns to drive customer acquisition and retention.
  • Monitor and analyze promotion effectiveness, adjusting strategies to improve outcomes.
  • Lead cross-functional teams to ensure cohesive execution of pricing strategies.
  • Manage pricing governance, ensuring compliance with policies and regulations.
  • Utilize data analytics to derive insights and inform pricing decisions.
  • Establish and maintain relationships with key stakeholders and partners in pricing strategy.
  • Provide mentorship and guidance to junior team members in pricing and promotion.
  • Lead continuous improvement initiatives to optimize pricing processes and structures.


Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Marketing, or a related field required.
  • Minimum 8 years of experience in pricing and promotion strategy or similar.
  • Proven record in developing successful pricing frameworks and promotional initiatives.
  • Strong analytical skills and proficiency in data-driven decision-making processes.
  • Excellent leadership abilities with experience managing cross-functional teams.
  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively.
  • Proficient in using pricing and analytics software tools for strategic planning.
