Summary:

A Salesforce Solution Architect designs and implements scalable, high-performance, and secure Salesforce solutions that align business requirements with technical capabilities.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Solution Design & Strategy: Create comprehensive, scalable, and secure technical architecture using Salesforce best practices.
  • Multi-Cloud Architecture: Design end-to-end blueprints that integrate multiple clouds such as Sales, Service, Marketing, and Commerce to create a unified customer journey.
  • Strategic Requirement Elicitation: Lead workshops with C-level stakeholders to translate complex business problems into scalable solution roadmaps and functional requirements.
  • Demo Builds: Build customized demos on the Salesforce platform to illustrate solution features and capabilities for clients and stakeholders.
  • Technical Leadership: Guide development teams through the implementation, ensuring the solution aligns with the intended architecture.
  • Integration & Data Modelling: Design and implement complex integrations between Salesforce and external systems and manage data modeling, including data migration and governance.
  • Prototyping & PoCs: Build functional prototypes and proofs-of-concept to validate architectural assumptions and demonstrate value to stakeholders.
  • Governance & Standards: Define and enforce standards for development, security, compliance, and DevOps practices.
  • Consulting & Stakeholder Management: Advise stakeholders on best practices for adopting Salesforce technology to optimize business processes.
  • Identity & Data Harmonization: Establish a single source of truth by managing Customer Identity and harmonizing data across disparate systems.
  • Platform Governance: Define and enforce enterprise-wide architectural standards, security guardrails, and best practices.
  • Scale & Performance Design: Architect solutions to handle high-volume transactions and large data volumes while minimizing technical debt.
  • Integration Orchestration: Design seamless real-time and batch integration patterns between Salesforce and external systems.
  • Innovation Advocacy: Continuously evaluate emerging technologies to drive digital transformation and platform modernization.

Key Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s/Masters degree in Engineering.
  • 8+ years of experience in Salesforce presales and technology implementation for enterprise CRM projects.
  • 3+ years in consulting, with extensive expertise in solution definition and integration patterns.
  • Relevant certifications in Sales, Service, and Marketing Cloud.
  • Hands-on experience with Salesforce Agentforce, Sales Cloud, Data Cloud, and Service Cloud.

Nice to Have:

  • Certifications in Technical Architect, Application Architect, System Architect.
  • Experience with industry-specific clouds and Salesforce best practices.
  • Strong skills in system documentation, including ERDs and process flows.
