As a Senior Manager- Interior Design, you will be responsible for...

• Overseeing the design process to ensure all projects are adhering to the highest design quality standards.
• Reviewing interior design packages submitted by consultants, ensuring alignment with company Design Guidelines, protecting the design intent and ensuring that purchasers are receiving what they have purchased in accordance with the design intent.
• Reviewing design submissions for technical and commercial compliance during the design stage and leading value engineering exercises to achieve target budgets, ensuring all design submissions are complying with technical and commercial requirements.
• Operating within the stipulated framework to maintain legal and ethical standards and ensuring compliance with the company's regulatory framework and corporate governance requirements.
• Leading and managing all aspects of the design process, including designing, procurement, consultant appointment and project execution, ensuring all technical procedures are meeting approved corporate operational design objectives.
• Reviewing the preparation of project-specific design briefs that reflect project intent and objectives.
• Managing consultants, ensuring risks are being mitigated and informing senior management of any changes.
• Providing regular feedback on project status, risks and approved feasibility to ensure design goals are being met.
• Managing stakeholder relationships at all levels, including liaising with stakeholder partners and key business affiliates.
• Staying updated with industry trends, best practices and emerging technologies in market dynamics and the competitive landscape relevant to the organization.
• Ensuring compliance with policies, procedures, processes and controls governing project design activities at all levels.

What you already have...

• Bachelor’s Degree in Interior Design /Architecture; Master’s degree preferred.
• International certification in Interior design / LEED AP (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design Associate Professional) Certification – preferred
• Excellent knowledge of real estate development processes, and industry standards.
• Working knowledge of interior design, coordination with architectural, structural, mechanical, and electrical disciplines; interior construction; and interiors specifications.
• Min. 8-10+ years’ experience in a real estate / design consultancy managing designs
• Experience managing design teams across various project phases (concept,development, implementation)
• Experience working with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure design integration within the project lifecycle.
