Position Summary

Planning, coordinating, and executing a wide range of internal and external events. Instrumental in enhancing our brand presence and supporting our strategic objectives through meaningful and impactful events.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage the full lifecycle of various events, including reputational milestones, corporate events, conferences, exhibitions, internal meetings, and employee engagement activities.
  • Develop detailed event plans, including timelines, budgets, vendor selection, logistics, and marketing/communication strategies.
  • Source and negotiate with event support agencies an/or directly with venues, caterers, AV suppliers, and other event-related vendors to ensure high-quality services within budget.
  • Coordinate all logistical aspects of events, such as registration, attendee management, branding, experience design, set-up, tear-down, and on-site support.
  • Develop and manage event budgets, track expenses, and ensure cost-effectiveness.
  • Work closely with internal stakeholders across different departments to understand event objectives and ensure alignment with company goals.
  • Works closely with communications, strategy and brand & creative to ensure event experience amplifies company messaging and positioning.
  • Ensures compliance with all relevant health, safety, and legal regulations for events

Critical Skills & Experience

  • Works well in a fast-pace, multi-stakeholder environment with tight deadlines, balancing internal stakeholders with external realities
  • Can prioritize and manage multiple projects at the same time. Can handle ambiguity and fluidity, plan for multiple scenarios and make good choices about when to take initiative
  • Is an excellent project manager, capable of assembling the right team and skills combination, and ensuring that they deliver on a timely manner.
  • Is very experienced with AV requirement and various types of AV set up for online, in person and hybrid meetings.
  • Is experienced with participant engagement tools and technologies.
  • Is a good communicator overall, grasping the overall objectives and positioning for the company and adjusting plans accordingly, and efficiently communicating plans to stakeholders at all levels – from Management to execution partners
  • Previous experience in experience marketing in B2B events, and sectoral experience in technology or related fields are strongly preferred.

Education & Experience

  • Bachelors degree in Marketing, Communications or a related field.
  • Proven experience (typically about 8 years) in planning and executing a variety of corporate events, ideally within a multinational company and in international settings.
  • Existing network and experience in Dubai is strongly preferred.
