Roles and Responsibilities:
Develop and execute the Emiratization strategy and action plan, in consultation with senior management and relevant stakeholders.
Monitor and report on the progress and performance of the Emiratization initiatives and programs, using quantitative and qualitative indicators and benchmarks.
Identify and attract qualified and talented Emirati candidates, through various channels and platforms, such as career fairs, universities, social media, etc.
Manage all career fair activities and university relationships
Manage the graduate hiring plans including sourcing, assessment centers and internal business coordination on the placement of UAEN talent
Source and maintain a solid pipeline of UAEN talent for future roles within the Bank
Utilize job portals, internal talent pool searches and other channels for sourcing suitable candidates, including market research, competitor mapping, and effective networking. Applying appropriate evaluations and assessment tools to support successful hiring decisions
Advocate and champion the Emiratization agenda within the Bank, and raise awareness and understanding of the benefits and value of Emiratization among all employees.
Build and maintain strong relationships with external partners and stakeholders, such as government agencies, educational institutions, industry associations, etc., to support the Emiratization objectives and activities.
Present at HRC/EXCO meetings on UAEN activities, statistics and current status against CB UAE targets
Research and benchmark the best practices and trends in Emiratization, and propose innovative and creative solutions to improve the Emiratization outcomes and impact.
In General:
This position plays a key role in driving, monitoring and improving the Bank’s Emiratization metrics both qualitatively and quantitatively.
Requirements:
Qualifications
Bachelors degree in human resources, business administration, or a related field.
MS office proficiency especially word, excel, spreadsheets etc
HR professional qualification is desirable
Experience
Minimum 6-8 years of work experience, banking sector is preferred
Understanding of recruitment practices and UAEN CB UAE points methodology is advantageous
Skills
Excellent communication skills - written and spoken English.
Good report writing skills
Computer literate with strong working knowledge of business software applications, particularly word/excel and spreadsheets
