About the Job:
Ensure all tender awards and contract agreements comply with company policies, approvals, and budget guidelines
Oversee project cost control by monitoring budgets, reviewing cost reports, and addressing any deviations or inconsistencies
Track project financial performance, including EAC, CAPEX targets, and budget alignment with development and finance teams
Collaborate with construction teams and stakeholders to ensure accurate progress tracking and transparent financial reporting
Identify cost risks and implement mitigation strategies, while driving cost-saving opportunities across projects
Lead cost review discussions and maintain strong coordination across project stakeholders
Develop and maintain cost databases and utilize market benchmarks to support informed decision-making and competitiveness
Review and approve project financial changes (RFCs) in line with approved budgets and commercial terms
About You:
Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or Quantity Surveying, with relevant professional certifications (CCP, PMP, or RICS preferred)
10–12+ years of experience in cost control, including developer-side exposure within construction/real estate
Strong expertise in cost control, budget management, financial analysis, and project cost tracking
Proficiency in project management and financial systems (Primavera/MS Project, SAP/Oracle, Excel)
Proven ability to monitor costs, identify trends, and implement corrective and cost-saving measures
Solid experience in contract management, procurement, and supplier/vendor management
Strong analytical skills to interpret financial and contractual data and provide strategic recommendations
Ability to manage risks, assess cost impacts of scope changes, and propose mitigation strategies
Effective stakeholder management with strong communication and negotiation skills
Ability to work across cross-functional teams and integrate cost control with project planning and scheduling
Strong reporting and presentation capability for senior stakeholders, with forward-looking cost forecasting mindset.
