Job Description

Administer, configure, and maintain Liferay DXP / Liferay Portal environments
Manage installation, upgrades, patches, and migrations
Monitor system performance and ensure high availability and scalability
Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues, bugs, and incidents
Handle server configurations (Apache Tomcat, JBoss, etc.)
Manage deployments (CI/CD pipelines) and release processes
Optimize database performance (MySQL, Oracle, PostgreSQL)
Configure and manage Liferay clusters and load balancing
Work closely with developers, DevOps, and infrastructure teams
Ensure security best practices and compliance standards
Maintain system documentation and provide technical support

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field
7 years of experience in Liferay administration
Hands-on experience with:

Liferay DXP / Liferay Portal
Application servers (Tomcat, JBoss)
Linux/Unix environments

Strong knowledge of:

Deployment processes
System integration
Web technologies (HTML, CSS, Java basics)
