Join our dynamic corporate team and become part of Aman Group. With offices strategically located around the world (Zug, London, Dubai, Singapore, Bangkok, Miami and New York), our corporate colleagues are at the forefront of driving innovation and excellence for our ultra-luxury brand.
Aman Group is seeking an experienced lawyer with a strong focus on legal services relating to our expanding portfolio of branded residences. This role will support the growth, launch, and ongoing management of our global residences while ensuring compliance with all applicable legal and regulatory standards. Reporting to the Director of Legal, Development, the successful candidate will work closely with regional Residences, Operations, and Development teams.
This is an exciting opportunity for a legal professional with a solid grounding in top-tier legal practice and a genuine passion for the ultra-luxury hospitality and real estate sectors. The role requires sound judgement, the ability to manage complex matters independently, and a commitment to delivering commercially aligned legal solutions.
Responsibility
Work closely with business teams, including Development, Technical Services, and Sales, as well as external counsel, to provide legal support for the Group’s residence development projects in Asia, EMEA, and other regions.
Draft, review, and negotiate hotel and residential management agreements, sales contracts, and a range of other legal documents (including NDAs, heads of terms, brand license agreements, and technical services agreements) in support of the Group’s global residences portfolio expansion.
Support M&A transactions involving branded residential assets, including conducting legal due diligence, advising on transaction structuring, negotiating contracts, and coordinating closing deliverables.
Partner with external counsel, joint venture partners, developers, and internal business stakeholders to ensure efficient and seamless project execution.
Oversee and maintain the Group’s database of legal precedents, ensuring templates remain up to date, aligned with current operational realities, and reflective of market best practice.
Provide legal advice on compliance, operations, and residence-related matters to internal teams, joint venture partners, and prospective buyers.
Handle complex matters with a broader scope, demonstrating increased independence and sound judgement consistent with a 7+ year PQE level of seniority.
Requirements
Minimum 7 years’ post-qualification experience (PQE), including at least 2 years in a top-tier international or regional law firm.
In-house experience within the hospitality or real estate sectors is advantageous, though not essential.
Law degree from a reputable university with a strong academic track record.
Exceptional drafting, negotiation, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to balance legal rigour and commercial practicality.
Strong analytical and strategic thinking capabilities.
Excellent communication and stakeholder-management skills, with the ability to work effectively across multiple jurisdictions.
Demonstrated ability to work independently while maintaining strong collaboration with cross-functional teams.
Willingness to travel as required to support business needs.
This position offers the opportunity to shape and strengthen the legal foundations of Aman Group’s global branded residences portfolio, working in a fast-paced, collaborative, and internationally focused environment.
Benefits
