We are seeking a highly experienced and creative Senior Landscape Architect for our team, with the objective to lead and inspire our landscape projects. This pivotal role requires a visionary leader who can bring a project to life from concept to completion. The Senior Landscape Architect will guide our projects through design development, coordinate with clients, and manage sub-consultants and project teams toward successful outcomes. The ideal candidate possesses deep knowledge in horticulture, sustainability, and landscape architecture with a strong commitment to delivering innovative and sustainable designs. We are looking for a proactive thinker who can contribute to our firm's objectives, provide mentorship to junior architects, and foster a collaborative work environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead the conceptual and schematic design process for various landscape projects.
• Oversee and coordinate project teams, ensuring design consistency and quality control.
• Engage and collaborate with clients to identify their landscape needs and objectives.
• Develop detailed landscape plans and specifications, factoring in environmental and budgetary considerations.
• Manage project timelines and resource allocation to meet client deadlines efficiently.
• Liaise with local authorities and communities to ensure compliance with regulations and standards.
• Provide mentorship and guidance to junior landscape architects and staff members.
• Conduct site analysis and surveys to inform design decisions and project feasibility.
• Champion sustainable practices and innovative approaches in all landscape designs.
• Prepare and present design proposals, reports, and documentation to stakeholders.
• Ensure effective communication between multi-disciplinary teams and stakeholders.
• Stay abreast of industry trends, innovations, and best practices in landscape architecture.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Landscape Architecture or a related field.
• A minimum of 8 years of professional experience in landscape architecture.
• Proven track record of leading large-scale and complex landscape projects.
• Exceptional design skills with a strong portfolio demonstrating creative excellence.
• Licensure or certification as a Landscape Architect is strongly preferred.
• Proficient in design software such as AutoCAD, SketchUp, and Adobe Creative Suite.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively liaise with clients.
• Strong knowledge of horticulture, ecology, and sustainability in design applications.
• Experience managing project budgets, timelines, and resources efficiently.
• Ability to mentor and develop the skills of junior team members effectively.
• Willingness to travel to project sites and client meetings as required.
