The Senior IT and Systems Administrator will play a critical role in overseeing the IT infrastructure, ensuring that all systems and networks run efficiently and effectively. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in managing complex IT environments and possess strong problem-solving skills. This role involves maintaining a secure and optimal IT infrastructure to support the business operations of the organization. You will be responsible for the planning, installation, configuration, and maintenance of hardware and software, alongside the management of network systems. Moreover, you will work closely with other departments to ensure IT aligns with corporate goals, providing strategic input to improve IT systems and networks. A strong understanding of both on-premises and cloud solutions is essential, alongside the ability to supervise a team of IT professionals and manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Responsibilities

• Plan, install, and configure new hardware and software in company systems.
• Manage and monitor the performance of the company's IT infrastructure.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field.
• At least five years of experience in IT systems administration or a similar role.
• Strong knowledge of network administration and server management protocols.
• Proficiency in managing both on-premises and cloud-based IT environments.
• Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to handle high-pressure situations.
• Strong leadership capabilities with experience in managing an IT team.
• Relevant certifications such as CompTIA, CCNA, or Microsoft certifications are preferred.
