Overview

This Senior Investment Advisor position is based in Dubai, UAE, and sits within the investment advisory function of a major regional bank operating across the MENAT region. The role reports to the Team Head of Investment Advisory and carries full responsibility for the delivery of investment advice to ultra-high-net-worth clients. It combines a senior client-facing mandate with internal team oversight, requiring close collaboration with Relationship Managers and direct engagement with key clients.

Key Responsibilities

• Drive investment growth and revenue by supporting Relationship Managers in increasing Assets under Management, generating investment-related income, and identifying cross-selling opportunities.
• Provide specialist investment advice and deliver complex investment solutions across multiple asset classes for ultra-high-net-worth clients.
• Manage client investment accounts by preparing CIP and IPS documents, monitoring investment profiles, and ensuring trades are properly executed and recorded.
• Conduct performance reviews and portfolio analysis, including assessment of asset allocation, suitability, and existing positions, and recommend investment switches or new ideas as appropriate.
• Strengthen client engagement by acting as a senior investment contact and supporting more frequent, higher-level client interactions.
• Oversee team performance and development by driving revenue targets, maintaining quality standards, tracking budgets, and supporting the continuous development of team members.
• Liaise directly with key clients and Relationship Managers to ensure alignment between client objectives and investment strategy.
  
  

Skills & Experience

• A minimum of seven years of financial experience, including at least five years in investment-related roles.
• Three or more years of Private Banking experience with a strong investment focus is preferred.
• In-depth knowledge of investment products, services, fee structures, legal provisions, and delivery processes.
• Strong understanding of equity and bond markets, unit trusts, and personal investment services, with the ability to apply this knowledge to business planning.
• Solid grasp of investment theory with the ability to provide both tactical and operational investment solutions.
• Familiarity with securities dealing and foreign exchange trade procedures.
• Demonstrated experience managing or developing a team.
• Proficiency in Arabic is required.
