Senior ICT/ELV/Security Engineer (Infrastructure)

Dubai, UAE

Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented Senior ICT/ELV/Security Engineer to join our team!

What Youll Be Doing

• Develop the methods and solutions for engineering problems; selects the most efficient and economical manner in meeting the various engineering requirement on infrastructure related projects.
• Develop comprehensive solutions for complex ICT challenges, including the design of ICT, Security systems, Security strategies, and scalable frameworks to support ICT, ELV, and security systems.
• Expertise in developing the Gap analysis, Security risk assessment, Concept, schematic, detailed, Tender, IFC as per the SIRA/Dubai police law/specification.
• Experience to upload the CCTV layout on SIRA SPC portal, and coordinate with SIRA for the approval and final NOC.
• Engage with clients, project managers, and cross-functional teams to capture detailed requirements and deliver design solutions that meet technical specifications, business needs, and future scalability.
• Ensure all design solutions are compliant with relevant industry standards, such as ISO, TIA/EIA, and local regulatory frameworks, including SIRA regulations, ensuring adherence to best practices.
• Prepare the Security/ELV BoQ, and the cost estimation for the Tender documentation and the ICT/Security Project budget.
• Capable to Design the ICT, Security and Telecoms infrastructure drawing, verification of corridors, cross sections details, and coordination with the landscape design for the CCTV field of view.
• Technical reviews and the design engineering compliance with applicable codes, standards, regulations, and ordinances.
• Preparation of the Scope of work and tender documents (RFPs, Technical Compliance, Technical assessment report, Commercial evaluation, etc.
• Review bidding/tender technical documents, prepare addendums Q & A, post tender clarifications. Execute the technical assessment for ICT and Security system.
• Review project design deliverables: IFC, Specifications, shop drawings, Material Submittals, Method statement and others (calculations, BOQ, Vendor prequalification’s, schedules) for the site project support.
• Establishes and maintains good working relationships by actively involving with other employees, engineers, managements, stakeholders, and clients.
  
  
  

What Required Skills Youll Bring

• Bachelors degree in Electrical and Electronics, Electronics and Communication Engineering or a related field with minimum 10 years of experience.
• Deep knowledge of ELV, ICT, Security system infrastructure duct networks, fiber optic networks.
• Experience with large-scale design projects for ICT and security systems is highly desirable.
• Expertise in developing innovative, practical solutions for complex ICT challenges through critical thinking, risk analysis, and problem-solving.
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills to present technical in front of the Client and SIRA.
• Certifications CCNA, CCNP, SIRA or relevant design-focused certifications are advantageous.
• Proficiency in utilizing CAD and other PC software packages typically associated with engineering is required.
