The Senior HVAC Technician is a critical position responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems. This role requires a detailed understanding of commercial and residential HVAC systems, both in terms of complex systems and standard equipment. The Senior HVAC Technician is expected to lead a team of junior technicians, provide on-the-job training, and ensure that all HVAC tasks are performed safely, efficiently, and according to current industry standards. Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, and repair commercial and residential HVAC systems efficiently.
• Lead a team of technicians ensuring quality and safety standards are met.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot HVAC system issues and perform necessary repairs.
• Provide training and mentorship to junior technicians on best practices.
• Collaborate with clients to understand their HVAC needs and provide solutions.
• Ensure compliance with relevant health, safety, and environmental regulations.
• Maintain detailed records of work completed and provide accurate reports.
• Oversee installation projects from planning through to completion stages.
• Perform regular inspections and preventive maintenance on HVAC systems.
• Stay current with new HVAC technologies and industry developments.
• Order and manage inventory of tools, equipment, and parts for projects.
• Provide excellent customer service ensuring client satisfaction with the work.

Requirements

• Proven work experience as an HVAC Technician, preferably in a leadership role.
• Valid HVAC certification and relevant technical qualifications are required.
• Strong knowledge of HVAC repair, maintenance, and installation procedures.
• Excellent troubleshooting skills to diagnose complex HVAC problems.
• Ability to lead, manage, and train a team of HVAC technicians effectively.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, are essential.
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints, manuals, and schematics.
• High level of physical stamina and dexterity required for daily tasks.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record for site visits.
• Willingness to work flexible hours and be on-call for emergencies.
