Job Description

The Senior HR Generalist / Executive plays a critical role in managing and guiding the HR functions within the organization. This position oversees various HR responsibilities, including recruitment, employee relations, performance management, training, and development. As a Senior HR professional, this role requires a thorough understanding of HR policies, compliance with labor laws, and proficiency in creating strategic HR initiatives that align with the company's goals. The ideal candidate will be an excellent communicator, possess strong leadership qualities, and have the ability to foster a positive workplace culture. They will also collaborate with executive leadership to develop strategies that ensure the organization remains a desirable place to work, driving employee engagement and retention.


Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement HR strategies that align with company goals and objectives.
  • Oversee the recruitment processes to ensure timely hiring of qualified candidates.
  • Manage employee relations, addressing issues and facilitating conflict resolution as needed.
  • Coordinate performance management processes, providing support to supervisors and managers.
  • Design and deliver training programs to enhance employee skills and career development.
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local labor laws and regulations.
  • Collaborate with leadership to manage and align the organizational culture and values.
  • Conduct surveys and analyze feedback to improve employee engagement and satisfaction.
  • Develop and implement compensation and benefits plans to attract and retain talent.
  • Oversee the HRIS system for accurate and timely data management and reporting.
  • Prepare and manage department budgets, ensuring efficient allocation of resources.
  • Lead HR projects and initiatives to improve processes and operational efficiency.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar HR Generalist role.
  • Thorough understanding of HR policies, labor laws, and compliance regulations.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to influence and motivate others.
  • Proven experience in handling employee relations and conflict resolution effectively.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with great attention to detail.
  • Proficiency with HRIS systems and Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
