About The Position

Wynn Al Marjan Island is currently seeking a Senior Horticulture Technician - Wynn Oasis to join the resort’s Wynn Oasis Engineering team.

Responsibilities

The primary duties and responsibilities of this role are:

• Supervise and coordinate horticultural staff including gardeners and assistants.
• Implement daily work schedules and ensure timely completion of tasks.
• Monitor plant health, irrigation systems, and soil conditions, recommending treatments as needed.
• Conduct regular inspections of landscaped areas to ensure cleanliness, safety, and visual appeal.
• Support sustainability initiatives through native plant selection and eco-friendly practices.
• Maintain inventory of tools, equipment, and horticultural supplies.
• Train team members on horticultural techniques, safety protocols, and operational standards.
• Liaise with the Area Manager Plot to align horticultural activities with broader landscape goals.
  
  

About You

The ideal candidate for this position will have the following experience and qualifications:

• Diploma or Degree in Horticulture, Agriculture, or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of supervisory experience in horticulture or landscape management.
• Strong knowledge of plant species, irrigation systems, and pest control.
• Experience in luxury hospitality or high-end landscape environments preferred.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
• Timely execution of scheduled horticultural tasks.
• Team productivity and adherence to safety standards.
• Visual quality and cleanliness of landscaped areas.
• Compliance with sustainability and environmental guidelines.
