We are currently seeking an ambitious individual to join our Mortgage Distribution team in a client facing role as the bank seeks to grow its IWPB business and specifically the Mortgage book by understanding and fulfilling clients’ needs.

The working location for this position is HSBC Tower, Dubai, UAE.

In This Role, You Will

  • Pro-actively acquire HNWI & UHNWI New to Bank & Existing to Bank clients in the UAE via effective contact strategy and delivery of the home finance sales process with a keen cross-sale awareness.
  • Provide Home finance solutions and services to HNW, UHNW, Premier, Private Banking, Corporate Banking and self-employed clients with professionalism and efficiency.
  • Work as part of an integrated branch management team to ensure, standards and are met and operating models delivered.
  • Maximize profit and achievement of the growth. Meet and exceed financial targets as outlined within AOP.
  • Agree and manage lending facilities within any agreed Approval Authority (RAA).
  • Manage operational risk, by using relevant MI to identify risk situations and take any appropriate action to minimise loss.
  • Ensure that sales & operations are undertaken in accordance with HSBC Bank plc. FIM, BIM and Credit Policy lending guidelines.
  • The jobholder will also adhere to and be able to demonstrate adherence to internal controls and credit policies.
  • Comply with the relevant Group standards including GHQ and the Regulatory organization as applied to the implementation of the WPB strategy in their country.

Knowledge / Experience

  • Graduation degree is a must to secure a UAE Visa and Work Permit.
  • Client driven with a strong focus on quality of service.
  • Evidence of strong sales results in home finance.
  • Relationship management experience with high-net-worth clients.
  • Strong communication and influencing skills.
  • Understanding of business banking client segment and wealth management products and services.
  • Strong market knowledge of UAE property market and home finance offerings.
