The role of a Senior Financial Analyst is critical in the finance department as it involves providing essential financial insights and guidance to support decision-making within an organization. Responsibilities

  • Analyze financial data to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for improvement.
  • Develop comprehensive financial models to support business strategy and decision-making.
  • Provide monthly and quarterly financial reporting to senior management and other stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and monitor annual budgets and forecasts.
  • Evaluate financial performance by comparing actual results with plans and forecasts.
  • Conduct economic and industry research to support long-term strategic planning efforts.
  • Assist in the preparation of presentations to the board of directors and senior executives.
  • Ensure compliance with financial regulations and internal policies while performing analyses.
  • Identify and recommend process improvements to enhance efficiency in financial reporting.
  • Develop ad-hoc financial analysis and reports to support strategic initiatives as needed.
  • Work closely with the accounting team to ensure accuracy and reliability of financial data.
  • Lead and mentor junior analysts, providing guidance and fostering a collaborative team environment.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, or a related field is required.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in financial analysis or a related discipline.
  • Strong proficiency in financial modeling and advanced Excel skills are essential.
  • Experience with financial reporting software and business intelligence tools is preferred.
  • Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking abilities are a must.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills to effectively convey financial insights.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
  • CFA or CPA certification is a strong advantage but not necessarily required.
