If you are ready to apply your strong Finance Business Partnering skills and take the leading role in setting and executing the Finance agenda in our UOQ (UAE, Oman & Qatar) market cluster, then you could be the person we are looking for to fulfil the position as Senior Finance Manager - UAE, Oman & Qatar.

In this position, you will be located in our local office in Dubai Jebel Ali, UAE, from where you will be managing a Finance team covering UAE, Oman and Qatar markets. You will have a direct reporting line to the VP and General Manager of our UOQ market cluster and be a part of the UOQ Management team. Furthermore, you will have a dotted line to the Head of Finance for the MENA region and become a key member of the MENA Finance community.

Key Responsibilities Of The Role

You will take the lead in driving the finance agenda in our UOQ cluster, and responsibilities will include (but are not limited to)

• Driving the commercial performance dialogue including; the development of reporting, dashboards, profitability analysis, performance review meetings, etc.
• Taking full ownership of the Monthly Closing and Financial Forecast Processes
• Driving the Business Partnering agenda toward the UOQ Management team and the commercial organization
• Ensuring transparency on the Financial Performance of our JVs and securing continuous optimization of our business models
• Being a key player in defining and driving efficiency initiatives across the business by creating financial transparency and facilitating business cases
• Working closely with the local Accounting team to ensure efficient processes and compliance with Arla Accounting standards
  
  

The role is broad, and you will effectively take charge of the full Performance Management agenda for three important markets, requiring you to work strategically, but also, occasionally, to deep dive into the complex operational details of our business. In MENA we are still on a journey of creating more transparency into our financial performance, requiring continuous development of our systems and processes, to provide valuable reporting and insights to the commercial business. To be successful in this role, you will need the skills – and the appetite – to drive this to the next level.

What Will Make You Successful

You hold a degree in Economics, Finance, or Management Accounting and a minimum of 5-6 years of experience in a relevant role, preferably within Commercial Finance and/or as a Finance Business Partner. You must be independent and thrive in a position that calls for your strong financial competencies. You are result oriented and enjoy taking on challenges that invite you to cooperate across the organization, as this will be a key to success.
