Job Description

The Senior Finance Manager plays a critical role in managing and overseeing the financial operations of an organization. As a strategic leader, they will be responsible for driving financial planning, enhancing reporting frameworks, and ensuring robust financial controls. Responsibilities

  • Lead the financial planning and analysis efforts to support organizational goals.
  • Develop, implement, and monitor financial policies and procedures for efficiency.
  • Collaborate with senior management to create strategic financial plans and forecasts.
  • Ensure accurate and timely preparation of financial reporting and presentations.
  • Manage budget preparation processes, providing insights on variances and performance.
  • Conduct risk management evaluation to protect the organization’s financial position.
  • Work with various departments to align financial objectives with corporate strategies.
  • Oversee the preparation and submission of all fiscal reports and audits.
  • Evaluate financial performance by comparing actual results with plans and forecasts.
  • Identify cost-saving opportunities and provide financial recommendations for growth.
  • Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal financial regulations.
  • Mentor and develop team members, building organizational capacity for future growth.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a closely related field required.
  • Master’s degree or relevant professional certification (CPA, CMA) preferred.
  • A minimum of 8-10 years of experience in financial management or related roles.
  • Proven leadership skills with experience managing high-performing finance teams.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, for diverse audiences.
  • Advanced knowledge of financial software and Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.
