As Senior Facility Manager – Middle East (Aviation MRO), you will be responsible for the end-to-end management of all facility management activities across the Middle East region.
The role will report functionally to the future Director Supply Chain Management (SCM) & Real Estate – Middle East, and will work in close coordination with the VP SCM & Real Estate, located at the regional headquarters, as well as with headquarters Real Estate and Facility Management functions.
You will oversee the operation, maintenance, compliance, and continuous improvement of existing MRO facilities, while actively contributing to the planning, development, and delivery of new facilities in support of the company’s regional growth strategy.
Acting as a senior interface between all internal departments, leadership, airport authorities, and external service providers, you will ensure that facilities are safe, compliant, scalable, and aligned with regional needs.
Main Responsibilities
Lead and manage facility and real estate projects across Middle East MRO sites, including upgrades, refurbishments, and operational improvements, requiring independent judgment and technical expertise. Work closely with local teams to ensure uninterrupted MRO operations and business continuity.
Support regional growth activities and new facility development.
Manage and follow up on regional (Middle East) real estate, facility services, and maintenance contracts, ensuring alignment with global standards, local regulations, and operational requirements.
Maintain complete and accurate facility and real estate contract administration, including budget tracking, cost control, and support of annual OPEX and CAPEX planning. Prepare regular facility performance reports, dashboards, and documentation.
Plan, organize, and monitor facility management processes and service delivery, ensuring compliance with policies, standards, SLAs, and aviation/MRO requirements, while delivering a consistently high level of service quality.
Act as the primary interface for internal and external stakeholders, including executive leadership, MRO operations, engineering, quality, safety, airport authorities, landlords, suppliers, and service providers.
Coordinate, develop, and continuously optimize facility services and technical maintenance activities, including minor plant and infrastructure repairs, utilities, and building systems, while overseeing all CMMS-driven ticketing activities.
Ensure timely response and effective follow-up on all facility-related requests and incidents, providing guidance and decision-making support to resolve day-to-day operational issues. Support leadership activities, audits, inspections, and company or customer events.
Review, evaluate, and manage contractor and vendor performance, including cost justification, manpower efficiency, compliance, and service quality. Act as the senior point of contact between the company and external service providers.
Ensure the operability, reliability, and continuous improvement of facility systems through coordination with vendors, contractors, and effective use of CMMS tools and performance metrics.
Lead space management activities, including layout optimization, capacity planning, and coordination of inter-office or inter-facility moves in support of operational growth.
Ensure full compliance with occupational health, safety, fire life safety, and environmental requirements, in accordance with local Middle East regulations, airport authority rules, and company standards, while proactively minimizing operational and safety risks.
Act as the key interface between Facility Management and EHS, managing hazards, incidents, investigations, and corrective actions related to facility operations.
Minimum Requirements
Master’s degree in Engineering, Facilities Management, Construction Management, or a related technical field.
8+ years of experience in facility management, ideally within aviation MRO, aerospace, industrial, or mission-critical environments.
Proven project management experience, including major construction projects, facility expansions, and large-scale renovations.
