Job Description

  • Assist in developing FM QA standards, SOPs, and technical manuals aligned with DWTC’s operational objectives
  • Suggest and implement Kaizen or Lean improvement initiatives to reduce rework and enhance maintenance and performance efficiency
  • Support the deployment of digital QA systems (CAFM, mobile inspection tools, IoT-based monitoring etc)
  • Participate in RCA workshops and technical review boards to identify improvement areas and track action implementation
  • Assist the Sr,Manager in adhering / Implementation of Industry specific ISO standards and Regulatory requirements
  • Audit vendor and subcontractor performance against service-level agreements (SLAs) and quality KPIs
  • Validate completed works with photographic evidence, checklists, and CAFM data accuracy
  • Participate in joint inspections and prepare audit reports with recommendations for improvement or penalties, as applicable.
  • Support the Senior Manager QA in contractor evaluations and performance reviews
  • Preparing the event requirements through the Event Plan for each allocated event, detailing client product and service orders and other requirements, as discussed in pre-planning meetings, as well as essential event information in order to ensure that all orders are communicated clearly and accurately to the client and DWTC internal departments
  • Review and verify PPM schedules, checklists, and CAFM system data for completeness and accuracy
  • Cross-check asset health indicators using IoT/BMS analytics and field validation.
  • Identify trends in recurring failures and coordinate with the Engineering Team for root cause analysis (RCA)
  • Support in developing and maintaining PPM audit scorecards and performance tracking reports
  • Ensure all engineering and maintenance activities comply with local authority regulations (Dubai Municipality, Civil Defense, DEWA, and RTA)
  • Report any non-conformities, Risk, unsafe practices, or deviations immediately for rectification
  • Support QA audits, ensuring safe work practices and adherence to permit-to-work procedures

Operating Environment

  • Office based at 50%, the job requires a lot of onsite presence throughout the venue and unsociable working hours (some evenings, weekends and public holidays) as per each event’s operational requirements.
  • Events are taking place mostly indoors however some elements may take place outdoor, and some events may take place in offsite venues managed by DWTC. Meetings may also take place at clients’ premises

Formal Education and Work Experience

  • Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical / Electrical / Facilities / Industrial Engineering or equivalent technical discipline.
  • Certification in Quality Management (ISO 9001 Lead Auditor, Six Sigma, or equivalent) is preferred.
  • Minimum 3-4 years of experience in hard FM quality assurance, maintenance auditing, or technical operations.
  • Hands-on experience with CAFM systems (e.g., Maximo, Oracle, FSI, or equivalent) and BMS platforms.
  • Proven background in MEP system inspections, technical audits, and maintenance process improvements.
  • Strong knowledge of HVAC, Electrical, Plumbing, Fire Safety, and Lifts.
  • Familiarity with ASHRAE, NFPA, DEWA, and Civil Defense standards.
  • Advanced data interpretation skills using CAFM/BMS/IoT tools.
  • Competence in Microsoft Excel, Power BI, and technical report preparation.
