Job Summary

The Senior Executive - Internal & External Compliance is responsible for ensuring the company operates in full compliance with all local, federal, and real estate-specific regulations in the UAE. This role requires a strong understanding of RERA regulations and a proactive approach to managing compliance, legal communications, and operational standards. The ideal candidate will be a proficient Arabic speaker with a keen eye for detail and the ability to liaise effectively with government entities and internal departments.

Key Responsibilities

  • Compliance Oversight: Ensure all business activities, procedures, and policies adhere to RERA regulations and other relevant UAE laws.
  • Government Relations: Manage and handle all official correspondence and communications with government entities, particularly RERA and the Dubai Land Department (DLD). Fluency in written and spoken Arabic is essential for this function.
  • Site Inspections: Conduct regular site visits to properties and projects to verify compliance with regulatory and operational standards.
  • Violation Management: Act as the primary point of contact for RERA violations and legal warnings. Oversee and ensure the timely and effective remediation of all compliance issues.
  • System Administration: Coordinate with the IT department to troubleshoot and resolve issues with the Mollak system to maintain seamless business operations.
  • Record Keeping: Maintain comprehensive and accurate records of all compliance activities, audits, reports, and communications with regulatory bodies.
  • Internal Advisory: Provide expert guidance and updates on regulatory changes to internal departments, helping them integrate compliance into their daily operations.

About You

  • Proven experience in a compliance, legal, or regulatory role within the real estate sector in Dubai, UAE.
  • Deep knowledge of RERA regulations and the laws governing real estate in the UAE.
  • Fluency in both written and spoken Arabic is mandatory.
  • Strong organizational skills and an exceptional attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to manage professional relationships with government officials.
  • Proactive and skilled at problem-solving, with the ability to handle legal and administrative challenges effectively.
  • UAE National
  • Familiarity with the Mollak system is a significant advantage.
