Job Description

The Senior Executive - Finance is a pivotal role in our organization, tasked with overseeing the financial operations and driving the strategic financial decisions of the company. This role involves a comprehensive range of responsibilities from managing financial planning and analysis, budget management, to ensuring compliance with financial regulations and standards. The successful candidate will work closely with senior management to provide insights and forecasts that will facilitate the growth and operational efficiency of the business. We are looking for someone who is not only adept in financial practices but also possesses strong leadership and communication skills to influence strategic initiatives. This role requires a keen eye for detail, an analytical mindset, and the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines simultaneously.


Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement financial strategies that align with business goals.
  • Monitor and direct the implementation of strategic business plans.
  • Manage the preparation and publication of departmental and organization financial documents.
  • Build and analyze financial models for departmental and company forecasting.
  • Oversee cash flow management, ensuring efficient treasury and working capital management.
  • Liaise with external auditors to ensure compliance with financial regulations and standards.
  • Prepare and present financial reports, reflecting financial health and projections.
  • Evaluate the financial performance of the organization and identify areas for improvement.
  • Coordinate the development and implementation of budgeting, forecasting, and reporting processes.
  • Ensure accuracy of financial information throughout the organization and systems.
  • Provide leadership and mentorship to junior finance team members.
  • Collaborate with other departments for improved financial policies and decisions.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related discipline required.
  • Proven experience of at least 5 years in financial management or similar role.
  • Strong proficiency in financial management software and MS Excel.
  • Ability to synthesize complex financial data into actionable insights.
  • Solid understanding of financial statistics and accounting principles.
  • Excellent leadership skills with the ability to manage cross-functional teams.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills with a strategic mindset.
  • Professional certification such as CFA or CPA is an advantage.
