Provide Strategic support to the marketing team by translating DWTC marketing objectives into fresh creative ideas and designs
Participate in team meetings to identify fresh design concepts and innovative ideas across media (including digital) to share out-of-the-box creative solutions
Proactively research new ideas to refresh brand expression
CREATIVE DELIVERY
Support quality and timely implementation of all creative BAU requirements - from brief to delivery, including design, artwork, and supervision of print production and photography. Assist with design for Digital communications when requested
Ensure development of all creative material strictly in compliance with the DWTC brand guidelines. Closely monitor, highlight and correct inconsistencies in implementation of brand guidelines
Coordinate with external vendors and ensure timely and quality production of all marketing collateral. Review all work rendered (sample or final product) by the external agencies and provide recommendations before submitting for senior management review
Support the Marketing team on all additional creative initiatives when requested. These could include but are not limited to:
Presentations and Bid documents
Campaign concepts and delivery for all DWTC Live Events
Supervise and/or conduct Photography
New ideas to support DWTC’s Corporate participation in Exhibitions, events or Trade Shows (eg CareersUAE)
Research and assist with new Corporate Gifts ideas in line with BU requirements and budgets
CREATIVE ADMINISTRATION & CONTROL
Ensure delivery in strict adherence to all department policies and SLAs in keeping with Audit requirements. Includes following the designated approval process on all creative jobs and submitting a monthly list of jobs in the required format
Ensure detailed filing and written documentation of all Artworks, Images, CDs and other brand assets. Maintain a log sheet of images or assets purchased or downloaded from all external sources including Shutterstock and others
Ensure 100% attention to detail on all projects, including design and copy – both in English and Arabic
Support Marketing team’s internal design requests including from Corporate Office and the Digital, PR and corporate communications teams, when requested
Operating Environment
The work typically requires multi-tasking and ability to deliver under pressure with immense attention to detail. The pace of work can get hectic during busy during Summer for Live Events as well as during busy Exhibition seasons
New expression of existing design guidelines is encouraged. Fresh ideas to keep the brand relevant are a key aspect of the business and value-add to the team
Formal Education
Degree educated, preferably in Design and/or Visual Arts
Proficiency in English and Arabic is Mandatory
Work Experience
A minimum of 1-3 years’ experience in graphic design, web development and related fields – preferably in marketing communications and brand management in a large Corporate, or in an advertising or a design company
Skills And Knowledge
Experience in MAC as well as PC environments with proficiency in Adobe Illustrator, Indesign, Photoshop, Acrobat Flash as well as Microsoft Office (esp Word, Powerpoint and Excel)
Basic knowledge in Print/Production and art working for print media is required
Knowledge of HTML will be an advantage
Strong design style and ‘solution’ driven creative skills, including a flair for photography
Ability to multi-task and deliver under high pressure situations
Ability to build rapport– internally as well as with BAU teams and third-party vendors
Any training undertaken in relevant creative fields will be an advantage
Any awards or recognitions in the relevant creative field will be an advantage
