Responsibilities

Strategic Sales & Business Leadership

  • Develop and Execute a Comprehensive Sales Strategy for defined market segments (e.g., high-rise, infrastructure, key developers) to significantly exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets.
  • Establish and Nurture Strategic Relationships with top-tier consultants, major developers, and project owners to secure project pre-approvals and framework agreements.
  • Act as the Primary Technical and Commercial Authority during complex negotiations, driving value-based selling and securing highly profitable contracts.
  • Mentor and coach junior sales staff on technical specifications, negotiation tactics, and client management best practices.

Advanced Client Engagement & Technical Consulting

  • Serve as a Trusted Advisor to clients, interpreting complex project requirements and offering sophisticated, long-term elevator and escalator solutions that optimize building traffic and lifecycle costs.
  • Lead High-Stakes Client Meetings and Technical Presentations, positioning Al Ghurair Elevators as the premium and most reliable solution provider in the market.
  • Collaborate Cross-Functionally with the supplier, installation and supply chain teams to define innovative and cost-competitive proposals for non-standard or challenging projects.

Contract & Commercial Ownership

  • Take full ownership of the preparation and submission of comprehensive, high-quality BOQs, technical offers, and tender documentation for major projects.
  • Lead and finalize complex pricing and contractual negotiations to secure favorable terms, maintaining excellent profitability while ensuring strict compliance with company margin guidelines.
  • Oversee the bid-to-order process for all assigned accounts, ensuring a seamless transition to the project execution team.
  • Market Intelligence & Stakeholder Influence
  • Conduct In-Depth Market Analysis to identify emerging trends, new competitive threats, and untapped market opportunities, proactively adjusting the sales strategy.
  • Provide Actionable Insights and Strategic Recommendations to senior management on pricing, product positioning, and brand strategy, leveraging deep knowledge of the local consultant/contractor network and competitor activities.
  • Maintain Expert Knowledge of local elevator regulations (e.g., Dubai Municipality, civil defense) and international standards, ensuring all proposals meet or exceed compliance requirements.

Qualifications

Skills & Experience

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in mechanical/electrical engineering or a related technical field is required.
  • Experience: Minimum 8+ years of progressive, successful experience in the New Installation (NI) sector of the elevator and escalator industry, with significant experience in the UAE/GCC market.
  • Technical Acumen: Expert-level knowledge of elevator/escalator systems, technical specifications, and traffic analysis.
  • Market Insight: Established and robust network of key decision-makers (consultants, developers, main contractors) in the UAE construction market.
  • Leadership Skills: Proven ability to lead negotiations, manage complex accounts, and provide informal mentorship or guidance to team members.
  • Software Proficiency: Highly proficient in CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot), MS Office Suite, and interpreting complex technical drawings and specifications.
