Senior Engineer - Projects

Job Description

The Senior Project Engineer provides technical leadership to plan, design, and validate processes or products while ensuring adherence to scope, budget, and timeline. This is a "multiplier" role that involves high-level decision-making and mentoring junior staff to ensure project success.

Responsibilities

• Manage all engineering phases of a project and feasibility studies to commissioning.
• Review and approve technical documentation, including CAD drawing specifications, and process flow diagrams
• Develop detailed project plans, track expenditures against control budgets, and manage resources to meet critical path milestones.
• Perform risk assessments and develop strategies to address technical or logistical challenges before they impact project delivery
• Act as the primary point of contact for clients, contractor, and internal cross-functional teams.
• Lead and train junior engineers, performing quality checks on their work to maintain high delivery standards.
• Ensure all project activities comply with industry standards (e.g., API, ASME, ISO) and workplace safety regulations
  
  

• A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Civil, Electrical, or related).
• 7+ years of progressive engineering experience, with a proven track record in leading capital projects
