Senior Engineer - Landscaping

Job Description

• To Manage and control all the activities covered for the Project in a safe and cost-effective manner, to enable to meet its objectives and fulfill the requirements as per approved annual business plan. To integrate multi-discipline, inter-department, project and vendor activities, to facilitate a high degree of flexibility and reliability of the project execution and to ensure that the services provided to all the centers are in line with their commitments, International Standards, statutory regulations, policies and procedures.
• To provide quality Landscaping ( Hard scape and soft scape)services of to all clients & maintain good business relationship by meeting client expectations and strengthen our service delivery. Conduct site assessments and write reports in the approved format, in a timely manner, for Business Development to quote the site tender. Ensure compliance of all KPIs, company policies, Safety Standards and guidelines, scheduling, transportation, and reporting requirements. Responsible for day-to-day Landscape operations all Over UAE
  
  

Responsibilities

• Overall management of Landscape and Irrigation activities, assist with any client inspection or approvals as required.
• Manage subcontractors of landscape and irrigation, ensure all operations are as per DM guideline to avoid any penalties.
• Technical inputs in relation to drawings and approvals for landscape and irrigation services.
• Reporting to Senior Management of the site condition and recommend improvements to manage the landscape and Irrigation of projects.
• Building a good and effective relationship clients and address the requirements of the client to ensure effective project Management.
• Responsible for installation and maintenance of both irrigation system and soft landscape.
• Conduct site inspections with the client and subcontractors (where required).
• Manage the entire portfolio of landscape and irrigation (including the coordination and management of the design shop drawings)
• Prepare daily, weekly, monthly and technical reports and submit to Management
• To ensure the staff attendance, scheduling, company policy, quality standards and internal work procedures are executed effectively
• Close cooperation with commercial / BD on project costing, contracts renewals and technical required supports.
  
  

Monitor monthly reports on fuel, maintenance, chemicals & consumables consumption, site inspection, overtime, complaints etc to ensure all service and resource are utilized and fulfill contractual obligations.

• Must possess the ability to self-supervise, have excellent time-management skills, be organized, have the outstanding ability to manage a diverse team in a way that improves morale and productivity, respects all employees, clients, Government entities,
• Implementation and execution of training program for landscaping staff on all sites
• Custodial for landscape procedures and/or project standards assigned
• Ensures that all the subordinates are aware of safe working practices and takes necessary precautions in hazardous work environment
  
  

Ensure proper coordination between the client and the team

The person in this position is expected to identify operational and technical problems identified with design concept

• Propose and implement solutions,
• Strive to improve and create business opportunities,
• Encourage, monitor, and mentor landscape engineers and Subordinates---- Promote a culture for excellence through constant improvement.
  
  

Qualifications

Masters in Horticulture engineering, Certified Irrigation designer, AutoCad

B. Sc. Agriculture Engineering (Dubai Municipality approved Engineer (Bachelors)

Agricultural Engineering or equivalent degree from a recognized college or university, with an Agricultural License in any emirate of the UAE.

Agricultural Engineering with Landscape Supervision Experience in the GCC for 2 years
