Senior Engineer - Facilities

Job Description

The Senior Engineer – Facilities is responsible for overseeing the operation, maintenance, and performance of building systems and infrastructure. The role ensures optimal functionality, safety, regulatory compliance, and cost-effective management of facilities across assigned properties.

Responsibilities

• Oversee preventive and corrective maintenance of MEP systems (HVAC, electrical, plumbing, fire protection, BMS).
• Ensure compliance with local regulations, safety standards, and statutory requirements.
• Manage facility service contracts and supervise vendors, contractors, and service providers.
• Develop and implement maintenance schedules and asset management plans.
• Monitor energy consumption and implement energy efficiency initiatives.
• Prepare and manage annual maintenance budgets and cost control measures.
• Conduct technical inspections and audits of facilities and building systems.
• Lead troubleshooting and root cause analysis of system failures.
• Support fit-out, renovation, and upgrade projects from a technical perspective.
• Maintain documentation including maintenance logs, asset registers, warranties, and compliance certificates.
• Ensure adherence to health, safety, and environmental (HSE) policies.
  
  

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical / Electrical Engineering or related discipline.
• 7–10 years of experience in facilities management or building maintenance.
