As a Senior Embryologist, you will play a critical role in the field of reproductive medicine, specializing in dealing with the complexities of infertility treatments. Your expertise will be central to laboratory operations, where you will handle and analyze human eggs, sperm, and embryos. This role demands advanced experience in embryology, including conducting IVF procedures and executing complex laboratory tasks to ensure the highest quality of care and success rates for patients. You will work closely with fertility specialists, nurses, and support staff to undertake and develop effective fertility treatments. Responsibilities

• Oversee and manage the day-to-day operations of the embryology laboratory.
• Conduct in-vitro fertilization (IVF) and related procedures with precision.
• Perform micromanipulation techniques including intracytoplasmic sperm injection (ICSI).
• Analyze and record data related to fertilization, embryo growth, and progress.
• Collaborate with medical staff to optimize treatment plans for individuals.
• Maintain laboratory instruments, ensuring they are calibrated and functioning properly.
• Conduct embryo transfers and prepare samples for cryopreservation techniques.
• Filter and select high-quality reproductive gametes and embryos for procedures.
• Develop and implement protocols to improve laboratory processes and success rates.
• Participate in research studies to improve ART procedures and success.
• Supervise and mentor junior embryologists and laboratory technicians.
• Communicate complex technical information to patients and other medical staff.

Requirements

• Master's or Doctoral degree in Biology, Reproductive Sciences, or related field.
• Minimum of five years of experience in a clinical embryology laboratory.
• Certification from relevant professional bodies will be highly advantageous.
• Strong proficiency with IVF technologies and micromanipulation techniques.
• Excellent analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to work harmoniously within a multidisciplinary fertility treatment team.
