Senior Electrical Engineer

We are looking for a Senior Electrical Engineer with solid experience in MEP design and execution. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background, excellent leadership skills, and a deep understanding of electrical systems in the context of building services.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the electrical design process for MEP projects from concept through construction.

• Prepare and review detailed electrical drawings, specifications, and BOQs.

• Coordinate with mechanical and plumbing teams to ensure integrated designs.

• Perform load calculations, lighting and power layouts, cable sizing, and panel schedules.

• Ensure designs comply with local codes, standards (e.g., NEC, IEC), and client requirements.

• Supervise and mentor junior engineers and CAD/BIM technicians.

• Attend project meetings, site inspections, and resolve technical issues.

• Collaborate with contractors, architects, and project stakeholders.

  
  

  Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering .

  • 8+ years of experience in MEP consultancy or contracting.

  • Strong knowledge of electrical design software (e.g AutoCAD, Dialux, Revit MEP, ETAP).

  • Familiar with international standards (NEC, IEEE, IEC) and local authority regulations.

  • Excellent communication, coordination, and project management skills.
