Job Overview:

As a Senior Director – Private Banking at Emirates NBD, your role is to manage a team with a minimum portfolio of AED 5.0 billion generating minimum AED 20 million Revenue.

Key Responsibilities:

• Guide the team members to achieve their growth targets and directly support in critical client relationships.
• Maintain and grow own existing client relationships though reduce number of own clients and focus on high-volume relationships
• Constantly explore Investment opportunities with the client according to his / her Risk appetite
• Regularly conduct quarterly account reviews in liaison with the allocated Investment Advisor (for accounts above a certain balance threshold) and extend Investment Proposals as result of the review
• Cross-refer clients to other business units of the Bank (Corporate Banking, Trade Finance, Treasury and others), total number of referrals as per individual KPI scorecard
• Coach the teams’ Relationship Managers, monitor their performance and ensure their continuous professional development
• Liaise with Investments team to enhance existing and develop new products
  
  

Skills and Experience:

• MBA in Finance or Bachelors degree
• CFA or equivalent financial services qualifications
• Min. 8 years of relevant experience in Financial Services
• Min. 3 years of experience in Middle Eastern markets
• First managerial experience in leading 1-2 Juniors/Assistants
• Strong knowledge about the majority of all assets & liabilities products as well as capital markets, portfolio management and investment products
• Full understanding of Compliance, Due Diligence and Anti-Money Laundering Acts as well as standard banking procedures
• General understanding of legal structures (Offshore, Trusts)
