As a Senior DevOps Engineer, the role plays a key part in the design, development, and operation of cloud infrastructure and CI/CD pipelines. The position works closely with development and infrastructure teams to enhance automation, scalability, and platform reliability, while also contributing to the wider engineering community through the adoption and promotion of best practices, tooling, and standards.

Responsibilities:

• Support cloud adoption and DevOps transformation strategies.
• Collaborate with the Principal Engineer to improve systems architecture and tooling
• Stay abreast of emerging DevOps technologies and industry trends
• Functional Roles and Responsibilities
• Develop and maintain infrastructure as code across environments
• Build and optimize CI/CD pipelines to ensure smooth code deployment
• Support container orchestration
• Enhance monitoring and observability of services and infrastructure
• Troubleshoot production issues related to deployments, performance, and availability
• Ensure adherence to security and compliance practices across systems
• People Management Roles and Responsibilities
• Provide mentorship to junior engineers and share DevOps best practices
• Participate in peer code reviews and knowledge-sharing sessions
• Encourage a culture of collaboration, ownership, and continuous learning
  

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
• 6+ years of experience in DevOps or infrastructure engineering
• 3+ years of experience working with public cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP)
• Proficient in containerization (Docker, Kubernetes)
• Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, or Github Actions
• Hands-on knowledge of Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Ansible)
• Strong background in scripting languages (Python, Bash)
• Solid understanding of cloud networking, security best practices, and system design
• Exposure to observability stacks like Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, or Datadog
