Senior Cybersecurity Engineer IAM

2. About the Opportunity:

The Senior Cybersecurity Engineer IAM is responsible for designing, implementing, and managing identity and access management (IAM) controls across the platform. This role ensures compliance with corporate IAM security requirements while supporting multicloud and hybrid environments. The position focuses on creating secure, automated, and auditable access models for both human and non-human identities. It collaborates with various teams to embed least-privilege, zero-trust, and automation-first IAM practices within a regulated, multi-tenant payments environment. Additionally, this role oversees security and governance for AI-enabled identity use cases, ensuring alignment with internal AI governance and corporate IAM standards.

3. Responsibilities:

• Design, implement, and operate IAM controls across the platform

• Ensure compliance with corporate Identity & Access Technical Security Requirements

• Develop secure, automated, and auditable access models for human and non-human identities

• Support multicloud and hybrid cloud IAM architectures, including AWS and federated cloud models

• Collaborate with Cloud Security, Platform Engineering, API, DevSecOps, and GRC teams

• Embed least-privilege, zero-trust, and automation-first IAM practices

• Provide security oversight for AI-enabled identity use cases complying with internal governance

• Design scalable permission models and enforce separation-of-duties

• Implement IAM automation for provisioning, de-provisioning, access revalidation, and auto-remediation

• Integrate IAM controls with CI/CD pipelines and Infrastructure-as-Code tools

• Develop reusable, auditable, and scalable IAM automation components

• Govern privileged access across cloud platforms with time-bound, auditable controls

4. Requirements:

• 5+ years of relevant work experience with a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent advanced degree experience, or 8+ years of relevant experience

• 8+ years of cybersecurity experience specializing in Identity & Access Management (IAM)

• Proven experience influencing IAM architecture, standards, and governance at a senior or consultant level

• Experience in financial services, payments, or regulated environments

• Strong hands-on experience designing and operating IAM in multicloud environments, including AWS and hybrid/federated clouds

• Deep understanding of role-based (RBAC) and attribute-based (ABAC) access models

• Experience with IAM automation, including automated provisioning, access certification, and auto-remediation

• Proficient in coding/scripting with Python or equivalent languages and use of APIs/SDKs for IAM management

• Experience with Infrastructure-as-Code tools such as Terraform for IAM automation

• Expertise in privileged access design and governance aligned with least-privilege principles

5. Pay Range and Compensation Package:
